On my quest for faster Strategy Analyzer Optimization completion times, I recently shared my results after testing 4 different computers to see which performed the best. Since some found the initial results useful, I wanted to take it a step further and explore whether varying RAM speeds could lead to better performance.
The CPU’s of the computers tested:
1.) AMD Ryzen 9 9950x (desktop)
2.) Intel Core i7 14700k (desktop)
3.) Intel Core i7 12700k (desktop)
The RAM speeds tested:
1.) DDR5 6000mhz
2.) DDR5 4800mhz
3.) DDR5 4000mhz
4.) DDR4 3600mhz
5.) DDR4 2133mhz
Again, it’s not an exhaustive review but maybe it can help if you’re looking for some PC hardware and NinjaTrader performance metrics.

Hi @BobbyKeefe, Another nicely done video with valuable tests. Tons of NinjaTrader users ask questions regarding what kind of specs their next machine should have to run NinjaTrader well. I look forward to future NinjaTrader-related videos from your channel. You’ve now done CPU and RAM tests… it would be neat to see how SSD speed effects NinjaTrader performance.

I would like to know this information too!
Ninja runs slow and has lots of issues.
I want to know if it will run faster if I delete unused indicators, strategies, bar types, intervals, etc

What are your thoughts on creating a new blank Workspace and just adding a few indicators, strategies, bar types, intervals, etc that are important to you and seeing if performance improves?
