Urgent: NinjaTrader Apple Mobile App Glitches Pose Significant Risks to Traders

I am writing to raise awareness about a critical issue with the NinjaTrader mobile app on the Apple App Store that is affecting live traders and increasing financial risks beyond those inherent in futures trading. Multiple user reviews on the App Store, along with my own experiences, indicate persistent glitching during trades, which has led to substantial financial losses for myself and others.

On May 16, 2025, I experienced a severe app glitch mid-trade that resulted in a liquidation event, costing me a portion of my account. Initially, I attributed this to an isolated incident and funded my account again. However, on May 22, 2025, the same issue occurred, and I captured video evidence of the glitch. In total, these incidents led to a $500 loss, of which NinjaTrader support only refunded $125 for one liquidity fee, despite being provided with clear video evidence.

When I contacted NinjaTrader support, they attributed the issue to local hardware or system factors. However, this explanation is inconsistent with the numerous App Store reviews reporting identical problems, pointing to a systemic issue with the app’s stability. This pattern of complaints suggests inadequate testing, maintenance, or updates to the mobile application, which is unacceptable given the high-stakes nature of live trading.

I plan to share the video evidence on this forum, alongside relevant App Store reviews, to highlight the severity and frequency of this issue. I urge NinjaTrader to address this promptly by engaging their development team to thoroughly test and update the app to ensure reliability and protect users from unnecessary financial risk.

If this issue remains unresolved, I intend to escalate the matter by contacting the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and the National Futures Association (NFA). Additionally, I am exploring legal options, including the possibility of a class-action lawsuit with other affected NinjaTrader users.
