Hi,
Since migrating from the Continuum connection to the new NinjaTrader Connection, I’m experiencing significant delays in the Trade Performance window.
Setup:
- NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1.6.3
- New NinjaTrader Connection (migrated from Continuum after the March 31 retirement)
- Instrument: FDAX (DAX Futures, Eurex)
Issue:
When clicking the Generate button in the Trades window, the results table takes several minutes to populate — intermittently. With the Continuum connection, this was instantaneous.
What I’ve already ruled out:
- Database Reset (Tools → Database Management → Reset): no change in behavior whatsoever
- Local performance issues: the rest of the platform runs normally
Given that the Database Reset had zero effect, I believe this is a server-side latency issue with the new NinjaTrader Connection when querying account execution data, rather than anything related to local database size or workspace configuration.
Has anyone else experienced this after switching to the new connection? And is NinjaTrader aware of latency issues specifically affecting account data retrieval on the new infrastructure?
