SOLVED: Tick Replay not populating due to MAR26 Rollover

Ever since the market rolled over to the MAR26 Contract, tick replay has stopped populating.
Has anyone encountered this issue before with rollover?

Troubleshooting Attempts that I’ve already tried:

  1. Downloading historical market data for the instrument
  2. Reloading all historical data

None of the above methods worked to correct the issue.

Please advise.

You have to load the previous contract to get the historical data for the DEC25 Contract. Although the regular live data chart can load a continuous back adjusted contract. For some reason Market Replay and Historical data export cannot.

It seems that the issue you’re experiencing with Tick Replay not populating after the MAR26 contract rollover could be related to the rollover process itself. Here are the steps you can follow to ensure the rollover is completed correctly in the NinjaTrader Desktop platform:

  1. Go to the Control Center > Tools > Instruments window.
  2. Search for and double-click on the Instrument you wish to modify to pull up its Properties window (or highlight it and select ‘edit’ at the bottom of the window).
  3. Scroll down and select ‘Edit Rollovers’ next to the Contract Months setting.
  4. Select the ‘xx-xx’ contract from the ‘Configured’ list on the left, and then change its ‘Rollover Date’ to any day prior to today on the right. Click ‘OK’ to apply.
  5. Close this window. Go to the Tools > Database Management Window and click ‘Rollover’. Click OK to close this window once the process is complete.
  6. Right-click on your Chart and select ‘Reload Historical Data’ for the changes to take effect.
