I find it incredible that there is not a simple right-click on chart price alert functionality, every video I find is like 15 minutes long, and going through any tutorial I’ve found doesn’t really give me exactly what I want which is just a simple price alert. I can’t be the only one…

Maybe this will help. I also miss the simple price alerts that are so easy to implement on my Thinkorswim charts. In the mean time… I have come up with the following method to achieve basically the same thing.
Attached screenshot shows the steps.
I keep two horizontal lines on one chart from each of the two instruments I trade regularly. Then I create a cross above and a cross below alert anchored to each line.
I can move those lines around as needed. Just make sure to check that the alert is enabled, and that the rearm setting is adjusted to “On bar close”.
Once one of the lines have been crossed, the alert will trigger. Once that bar closes I can safely move that line to the next level I want to track.
