Q. Licensing Requirements To Run Custom Coded Autotrading Algos

It looks like I need an additional license, and have to pay an additional fee to run “Live” custom trading algos on the platform.

Is that correct?

Any thoughts, suggestions, gripes, or upsides I am missing?

I asked ChatGPT and it told me that Gemini is confusing Free Simulation Tier with the leased Tiers.

I’m pretty sure you don’t need any type of extra license to run custom strategies on NinjaTrader. Why would they give you access without it then?

My initial impression is that it is unenforced. Asking people to pay $1188 a year to run their own code, seems like a sure way to see people run for the exit door.
