My NinjaTrader frequently experiences price feed connection losses, which seem to get resolved almost immediately per log statements but the price doesn’t get updated. Charts remain frozen. Strategies don’t work. Nothing changes until I cycle the connection. And, if I do that, strategies get disabled. How do I get out of this predicament? I’m on 8.1.6.2 running on QuantVPS Chicago server.

I am in Europe and see these 1 second interruptions too. But my system functions without any problem. After the automatic reconnection charts and data are correct and everything works.
Is this maybe a server problem? When I was trading with Tradestation after each disconnection I had to restart the program, in Ninjatrader this problem is non existing to me.

Double check your instrument, server, and trading holidays, these are my most common issues.

I’m looking for ways to programmatically address this issue. Basically, detect price feed loss, reconnect and refresh the feed without having to recycle the connection and restart the strategies. Any insight is appreciated.
