Why are the indicator submissions still happening via the old forum? I’m unable to contact the creator or discuss the indicator there.

Me too, but I cannot post/reply. Even if posting worked - it fragments community and is unproductive.
EDIT: I think you misunderstood the issue and I was not clear enough: code is still being submitted via the old forum that is read only. There’s no way to contact the author, discuss the code or ask for help.
TradingView could serve as an example how it should be done. Author’s screenshots, comments, description, user comments and code are in one place.
