NinjaTrader Continuum for VIX

A few years back I was told the only way to get real-time data for the VIX was to have the CBOE - Top of Book data package. But in order for it to work on the charts real-time was to use the Continuum connection.

I currently have both CBOE - Top of Book and CME GROUP (Level 2) - Market Depth and I only paid the $15 extra for CBOE to get the VIX data as I use it in a lot of my strategies.

Once Continuum is gone how will we get live, real-time VIX data?

Is this CBOE data package still needed?

I am connected to fundednext and I just put the ^VIX index up. So that seems to work. I dont know if this helps or relates but I really would like some kind of volatility data also
