Meridian — Real-time behavioral risk monitor + Guard enforcement | now an Official NinjaTrader Ecosystem Vendor

Wanted to post this here since it’s the right audience.

Meridian just completed NinjaTrader’s official Ecosystem review — Compliance, QA, and Executive — and is now listed as an Official Ecosystem Vendor. If you’re evaluating third-party add-ons, that process matters: the code, local data handling, and behavior all go through NinjaTrader’s review before anything gets listed.

Here’s what we actually built and why.

Every risk tool I looked at before building this has the same structural flaw: it fires after the P&L damage is already done. Your daily loss limit, your broker’s drawdown cutoff — those aren’t risk management, they’re maximum loss enforcement. The behavioral breakdown that caused it happened 20 minutes earlier, and nothing caught it.

What Meridian monitors is the behavior before the loss threshold. Think Applewatch stress monitor, but for trading discipline.

PSI (Core)

A real-time Psychological Stability Index, 0–100, built from seven behavioral signals running live during your session: entry timing after a loss, stop modifications on open positions, sizing relative to your personal baseline, hold time on losers vs winners, trade frequency drift, early exits on winners, and manual rule-log entries. Each signal is individually weighted — or you can disable any of them. The PSI and all seven signals display in a live HUD and a full Dashboard. Everything is local. No data leaves your machine, no telemetry, no cloud dependency.

Guard (Guard tier)

The enforcement layer on top of PSI. Six trigger types: PSI below threshold, consecutive losses, session P&L floor, unrealized drawdown, single trade loss, and session time limit. Each trigger maps to one of five response levels — alert, typed acknowledgment, mandatory countdown, entry blocking (Risk Alert Mode), or broker disconnect. Guard does not close or modify existing positions; it intervenes at the entry level.

Intel Layer (Guard tier only)

Monthly behavioral digest: PSI correlated against P&L over time, weekday pattern analysis, Today’s Risk Brief at session start, and a six-month Composure progression view.

Two tiers:

  • Core — PSI, signals, HUD, Dashboard, Journal, History — $49.99/mo or $479.90/yr
  • Guard — Core + Guard enforcement + Intel Layer — $69.99/mo or $671.90/yr

7-day trial. Windows only.

meridianpsi — happy to answer anything here.

I’ve got a pistol connected to my computer, whenever I’m doing something stupid in a trade, it shoots the computer, and then it shoots my arm, I’ve only made one mistake, and I’m not about to lose my left hand. I’ve already lost the right.
