Machine ID to 3rd party?

Hi !
Just a quick question, is it common practice/ok to give your machine ID to 3rd party indicator vendor for an NT8 indicator ?

Yes, it is common practice and it is perfectly safe.

NinjaTrader, Inc gives its third-party vendors access to a NinjaTrader vendor licensing system into which vendors can enter in the NinjaTrader Machine IDs they receive from customers. This is one of the licensing systems that NinjaTrader’s third-party vendors can use to ensure that users must pay for a license to use their indicator, strategy, or NinjaTrader add-on on a given machine.
