Login: Unable to verify entitlements. Please try again later

Is anyone else getting this popup message?

After what appears to be a successful login to NT Desktop 8.1.4.1, I get this popup message “Unable to verify entitlements. Please try again later.”

I have tried to login many times, same popup message.

Looking at Help → About, I see no entitlements. Things like OrderFlow+ and MultiBroker are normally shown there.

It’s after 5pm here in California on Sun night May 25th, the day before Memorial Day on Mon May 26th, but the futures markets have been open for over 2 hours.

Anyone else having any problems?
I’ve submitted a ticket through the new ‘contact me’ support page (which sucks, there is no way to attach files to send to support), but I have my doubts that anyone is looking at these problems on this holiday weekend.

Btw, opening up the older NT8 8.0.28.0 on a different PC works perfectly, and Help → About correctly shows all my entitlements.

IMHO, the problem is most likely something on NT’s end, maybe an upgrade to their new login servers or some kind of other server maintenance project has not yet completed?

I can’t log in at all, and im sure no one is working till Tuesday

Same issue here. the millions im missing out on.

I can’t login either. “There was an unknown error logging in. Please contact support.”

Just before 11pm when I went to bed, the popup message went away.

At 11:50pm, I received this email reply from my support ticket,

"Hello David,

Thank you for your note.

We’re currently performing some work on our systems, which may be affecting logins.

Could you please try restarting your PC, then log in again and let us know if you’re still seeing the same error?

Yet again, the lack of an overall product status page to note things like server maintenance causes unnecessary customer stress.

Btw, I am sorely disappointed that NT Support no longer participates in this new forum. It is very demoralizing when NinjaTrader mgmt (yet again) makes some ‘business improvement’ but that change makes many customers feel somewhat abandoned and less than important.

Agreed. Also being able to search through past (high quality) answers was an invaluable resource.

As to the issue, I was not able to login through desktop but web client still worked.

Completely agree that some communication on the server status page would’ve prevented me and others from uninstalling and reinstalling the program and spending hours trying to isolate an issue.

This should still be possible. The old forum is now ReadOnly mode, no new posts, but the search features in the old forum should still work. I’ve kept my bookmark to the old forum because it’s an invaluable resource, esp when an NT Support person attaches a code sample (shout out to ChelseaB).

Have you tried using Google?

I would use Google to find relevant stuff on the (now old) forum by typing ‘NinjaTrader’ or ‘NinjaTrader.com’ as the first search term.

Type something like,

NinjaTrader OnMouseDown

and you’ll see Google provides plenty of links into the old
forum, which IMHO are usually good places to start.
