Ignore post-problem with bad code on system
Sometimes I don’t understand why people don’t behave like “a prudent person” and don’t follow very basic rules:
- NT8 was introduced in 2016. That’s 9 years ago and you still use NT7? Now you wonder why you got problems???
- Never install upgrades immediately after they are available.
- Always make a backup (disc image) before installing any software.
That would have solved the problems you have now in a few minutes without any loss of software.
