I'd like to make a request to add Displacement to "Attach to indicator" buy/sell stops

it would be really great to add a Displacement feature to the “Attach to indicator” properties section, could potentially free up a lot of compute on both the traders and the brokers platform on a “jittery” product like MNQ or MES, being able to run the stop attached to an indicator’s value 1 bar ago, or 5 for that matter would significantly cut down on compute for stops of this nature were it to be used…

It actually already exists, from the alerts, the indicator, look in the settings. Also look up ‘displacement Ninjatrader’ on Google

i’m talking about “attach to indicator” stop orders.

Setting your indicator to calculate OnBarClose can remove the rapid changes in value on the current bar. It effectively acts as a displacement of -1.

If you want even more, you can set the displacement on the indicator (not during the attach). Negative displacement values move the indicator away from the current bar towards the past.

If you want to have visuals that are updated OnEachTick, and/or not displaced, you can always add a second instance of the indicator and change the visual properties to clear up any undesired screen clutter.

well aware of this, it’ why i run 2 instances of some indicators… seems like it would be really easy to implement this Feature Request
