I just love the ability to create custom BarsTypes. I’m not sure if that’s unique to NT but I find it very powerful and was able to make bars that work better than any standard bars out there.

EDIT: if ninjatrader support reads it - please enable ability to have more user exposed variables and have their value visible in the selector (even if just for Value and Value2 would be a good start). Right now I have to encode additional values in Value2 and parse it like a string.

What you’re asking for sounds like an excellent idea. I definitely second this.

I wish they still took ideas like this from the forums the way they used to. It was great being able to chime in on a suggestion and add a “+1” to the vote count.

I am intrigued. Do tell what this custom bar type of yours is and how it works. Maybe a screen shot?

I don’t want to say too much. Basically I’m using ER and SC (from KAMA) to build the candles.
