When applying NT Volume Profile indicator on charts, the lowest time frame I can go is daily. I know that I can manually apply the volume profile indicator one time in any range but I would like to see the volume profile automatically draw every 4H on 1H chart. Is there a way to alter the setting which enables auto plotting?
With NT Volume Profile you can get pretty close to what you want by setting Profile period to Composite and set it to “Visible screen range”. Then set up your data series and zoom in/out in such a way that you have 4 hours worth of candles in the visible portion of the chart.
Or you can use other third party Volume Profiles that offer more flexibility in selecting timeframes like rolling periods, leg to leg, etc. Happy to recommend one if you’re open to trying other packages.
