I would like to set up a single button hot key for each of the following: buy market, sell market, close (go flat). Currently the only hot keys that work as a single press are the Function keys at the top of the key board which require my left hand to be in an weird position. Is there some way or trick to set up a couple of hot keys on the left side of key board that would work with a single press? Thank You
I do one button hotkeys using ahk v2. you can do something like this:
#HotIf WinActive(“Chart - “)
z::Send(”{F1}”)
c::Send(“{F2}”)
x::Send(“{F3}”)
The hotkeys z, c, and x are only active when a NT8 chart is active (identified with "Chart - ").
F1, F2, and F3 would be the hotkeys you’ve defined in NT8 for the buy, sell, or go flat.
You don’t have to use F1, F2, and F3. They can be anything, but NT8 requires a modifier.
z, c, and x just seem like a good combo for buy, sell, and go flat.
My go flat hotkey is the ctrl+spacebar:
^Space::Send(“{F2}”)
