I try to download historical data for my backtest. I need only minute data and try to fetch data for a date range of 01-01-2025 to 08-08-2025. I have selected a list of 4 futures contracts: ES, RTY, NQ and YM. When I hit the download button, NT downloads only some data but not as expected. Have a look at the Screenshot.
I am expecting that when I select a date range that is greater than the current contract front month duration, it should automatically download the data for the previous months too. But it seems that NT downloads only the current front month of the selected contracts.
Maybe change the settings for market data:
Go to the dashboard and select TOOLS and then SETTINGS
Select in SETTINGS MARKET DATA
Select MERGE BACK ADJUSTED for adjusted data
Or select MERGE NON BACK ADJUSTED for the original data

thanks for the hint but that didn’t fix it. What fixed it was the settings above under “General → Preferred connections - historical”. For some reason there was an old connection set. When I reset that to None, it worked again.
