Feedback section

Would be nice to have a feedback section so that users could give NT some ideas for future improvements/upgrades/bug fixes etc.

Here’s one. we have a playback connection. I download lets say yesterday’s data. Wouldn’t it be logical for the playback to open up on that day rather than the first day it has in the data? And why can i not set the time it opens at? In my case it opens at 7am which i guess is sessionstart. Why can the user not set that time. I waste countless hours through the year changing these two things EVERY time i download. Is it really that difficult to set a global variable?

Would be a nice amendment instead of yet another logo redesign.

Always also we need a section for people to posts bug fixes and new features ideas. But perhaps a new section of the forum is better because then people can comment on each idea, if we have 1 thread…you’ll have comments (like this one) all mixed up with ideas and I doubt anyone from ninja Trader wicked go through the whole thread. What do you think?

I have a huge list of ideas and wishes in a notepad file.

Totally agree with your point by the way. The playback feature is great, but the loading of playback and the time it takes to get to the point you want is extremely frustrating and slow. You would think when you connect to the playback connection (which automatically opens the market data section to select your data, it would then open on the selected item. But no.

I’m 100% sure they already have a backlog full of features that users want. They used to add the user as a vote for x feature. If you look through the old forum, you’ll notice that some features after years have never been implemented and you’ll see someone ask about it again. It seems that NinjaTrader is slow to implement. Hopefully, we will see that change since they recently got bought out.

Yea, I noticed some features requested over and over going back years.

Yes - I guess that’s why we have a “new forum” with zero support. Saves money. Of course losing most of the client base might not help in the long run. Could be an expensive $1.5B.. I was surprised when NInjatrader sold - 1.5B seems very cheap when the potential revenues from Data/Commisions etc must dwarf that in the long run.

Yeah it got to be a joke. Lets spend 6 m redesigning the flashy logo but hey you want a better playback feature - like TradingView - no way!
