I used my Esignal login details for the data feed and I am able to see the candle sticks as they are forming in real time. However, past hostorical candles are not being downloaded. Could any one help me here ?
A possible explanation:
When you connected your Esignal for live feed, NT8 made a map to store the data (Documents/Ninjatrader8/db/??. This map did not exist yet in NT8. He will make maps under TICK, MINUTE and DAY.
The data that is stored, is only the data from the moment on you connected. This means that NT8 has to download past data.
Do “reload all historical data” and see if the problem is solved.
If not, close your charts and reopen them, maybe NT8 will now load historical data.
If that does not work, I think you will have to wait till there is more live data stored.
Thanks for the reply. I tried everything, even uninstalling and reinstalling Ninja Trader didn’t help and the problem persists.

The esignal credentials stored in Ninja were wrong, while the ones stored in Esignal are correct. Hence, the live data candles are getting updated while requesting historical data from Ninja is failing
