Daily Reset vs Weekly Reset and Data Freeze Implications with NT8 move away from Continuum Connections

I am on the latest version of NT8 (version 8.1.6.3) and currently I use a continuum connection for my strategies as they run for a week without touching them. I was on a live connection but recently started to experience data freeze issues when I upgraded to 8.1.6.3, i was last on earlier version then 8.1.6.2 but am unsure when i last updated. With the update to most recent version data would stop flowing in realtime while connection was active at least once a day. Consistent with this thread:

I moved to a Continuum Connection and the issue stoped and my systems work for the entire week again. With this announcement forcing me back to the Live Connection at the end of March 2026, does NT8 plan to address the data freeze issue in the above thread?

Go to the dashboard.
Select CONNECTION.
Change your connection to MY NINJATRADER CONNECTION.
Then try again.
Ninjatrader support told me a very long time ago that you should not use Continuum anymore.

My Continuum always worked great and was able to get 50 points of DOM levels both directions. Now having to switch to Live it will only display 7 points each direction. All settings same and no solution here.

My NinjaTrader connection seems less stable. keeps disconnecting and failing to reconnect, where Continuum would stay connected for the entire week. Restarted my machine and reset ipconfig so will see if that corrects the behavior.
