Custom Add On persistence in Workspace

Hello, all!

I (well, Claude) Created a custom order panel to replace the chart trader so I could have the order buttons and some key information that I wanted to track in one place. I’m having trouble getting it to persist when I log into NinjaTrader (NT). It loads my default workspace and all of my indicators load and all of the other windows that were open when I clicked save, but that custom addon does not load. I have to open it individually every time I load into NT. Can someone point me in the right direction? Claude doesn’t know where to begin either and suggested I ask here.

Honestly, it’s not the biggest deal, but since Claude is building the add on, I might as well get it right.

I tried searching for something related to this topic, but maybe I’m using the wrong words. I don’t know.

Tell Claude ‘research ninjascript best practices and fully review the ninjatrader developer documentation and let me know when you understand the objective”

It’ll then perform the appropriate research, learn what is necessary to learn and what was wrong, and then tell you that it understands the issue and it will explain it, afterwards, then you tell it to proceed with the implementation.

This is context building, and it’s something you wanna implement before you start the build of what you’re building, and what context building is, is simply discussing what you’re looking for, so that the AI took and start to build a contextual environment, with the contextual environment it will know to perform this research earlier on, so you won’t even be at this point, but it will know how to perform the research, it will know what to look for it will know what your objective is, and it will make your building a lot easier

Hmmm… this might be one of the first times someone didn’t give me specifically what I asked for and yet was still very helpful. I’ll try it. Thanks!

With my indicators, when they do not save - it’s usually a serialization issues.
