Creating/using continuous contract for replay download

How do I set up an instrument as a continuous futures contract, ie ES, and download it for replay?
Using Ninjatrader datafeed.

AFAIK you cannot do it. Just like data export it can only be done on a per contract basis

The whole historical data / market replay section of the app needs a complete overhaul IMO.
