I use MzPack Market Depth and Jigsaw. Regardless of what anyone uses, they are still taking away levels of market depth and went from $40 to $48 for CQG data.
I use a slightly modified version of the below. Seems to be fine with the 8.1.X feed. (ie not continuum)
Here is the Continuum connection. Observe the amount of levels in yellow and green right margin. The second photo is the “Live Connection”.

Comment not on Profile, but on overall experience with new Live connection. It is slower to execute trades from Chart Trader, it takes noticeably longer for trade to appear on chart after click in Chart trader
I dont even understand what is going on here, i purchased and installed ninjatrader a year back, i never configured any data feed, i never had to enter any username password, i dont even have to pay 12$ per month since i have a lifetime license…i get live feed alright. I was hoping now to subscribe to level 2 data after going through the documentation of order flow suite +, it is free to use with lifetime license and i was thinking that will be a good first step to enter the world of level 2 data…
From this thread I get the impression that earlier people were connected to a much better data feed which provided Depth of market till 100 ticks, but this default data feed that comes packaged with ninjatrader has level 2 data which is only till 30 ticks, making order flow suite + useless…
Is my understanding correct.
Purchasing the Lifetime NinjaTrader quite a few years back, the CQG Continuum connection, Level 2, cost $41 per month, since 2023. At the start of 2026 they raised the price to $48.00 per month. The Continuum which still works until the end of March is showing me 82 ticks in either direction from Spot Price, right now pre market. The “New Live” connection only displays 30 ticks.
Some add-on software is also able to pull and identify “Extremal Orders” that show up in addition to limit orders sitting at each level under the Continuum connection. They don’t work under the “Live”.

30 DOM levels in 2026 is unacceptable.
Is there any alternative to this “New” Live Data Feed?
I was using CQG Continuum for a number of years whilst trading ES & NQ.
I am quite uncomfortable having limited DOM.
