Hello wondering why NT Chart Trader does not have a built in “break even” button the Basic Order entry panel has one?
Why not have the “oco” for chart trader available on the panel vs having to right click and select it? I understand that there are many 3rd party solutions (which equals extra $$ and potential for possible problems i.e. not efficient code) for such things but am just curious on others opinion as to why not have them native in the platform.
Thanks
Go to New > Basic Entry> and you find a new entry window that has break-even.
Think of ninjatrader and all trading platforms as streaming data analytics tools, its not going to have every minutiae of possibilities, but it is extensible, limited only by your imagination.
Hi maverick yes I know did you not read the first sentence? “Chart Trader does not have a built in “break even” button the Basic Order entry panel has one?” Thanks for responding.
No, it does not. Relatively easy to add one though. But, it does not. It does not have a lot of things, but it has some things, but not everything. ![]()
There’s a huge list of things that aren’t standard in NT that easily could be and should be. I guess only the developers know.
I think people have been waiting on some features adding for years.
