Can anyone recommend a cost-effective futures data feed for Ninjatrader? CME

Hello guys,

I’m not currently a customer with Ninjatrader Brokerage as I’ve been trading mostly with Topstep, but I still use Ninjatrader as a lifetime licensed user for charting and I need a reliable data feed / subscription for CME futures data. Index data (SPX) would be great, but optional.

Can anyone recommend anything?

If possible, I’d do it directly through Ninjatrader, but if I have to open an account and deposit money I’m not sure it’s a solution.

Currently signed up with a demo account through Ninja, but that one expires in a few weeks.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Miss the old forums…

Top book on NinjaTrader is… $4 a month. Why can’t you just open an account with them? SPX is not part of CME so you won’t get it there. If you want free SPX then you can just use Thinkorswim. I think there might be a small minimum account, but the data itself is free.

Yes. If I can open a $50-100 account with Ninjatrader just to get data for $4 per month - that sounds like it may be the cheapest option for now?

Thanks for the suggestion.

Futures trading is all i trade (oil currently) this is the cheapest way to trade with minimal monthly fee and lifetime license is like 2.50 per order.. ShadowWorkx has just released their Trading Template with a 3 day trial… contact me for more info ill get you locked in.

Thanks for the replies. It seems like Ninjatrader currently offers FREE top of the book CME data with a funded account. So, I just deposited $20 there and will get data that way.
