It works well and i’m not charging an arm and a leg like other companies do for the same features.
There is 2 version included, one give you the unlock button so you can manually unlock the account if you want to. The 2nd version does not have any unlock button, so the account remains locked until the new trading start.
Works only on the NinjaTrader desktop platform. I initially thought it would also work on the web version or on TradingView when connected through NinjaTrader, but it doesn’t. Once enabled on desktop, it prevents you from placing take profit and stop loss orders. Overall, it feels like a flawed product.Wasted my money
Hey, I think you should consider adding, at the very least an automatic lock if the Account Profit crosses a user defined threshold. I need to lock my account if I reach a DLL. But can’t necessarily guarantee I’ll hit a lock button when I do.
I use GAT, but it’s quite expensive and I have only one license. So something smaller for my laptop I would be interested in.
I don’t remember seeing it on the website tho.But however I thought once I lock it on NT8,if U use the web version or mobile version it block any orders.It does block placing take profit and stop loss tho…
It does somewhat work on the web version/Tradingview
Once you lock it on desktop, the web version (or TradingView) can still place trades. However, when you try to set take profit or stop loss orders, they get rejected.
Not meaning to rain on any parades but the ninja trader app has an account lockout feature.. the desktop version does not have a lockout , but if you download the mobile app you can lockout and it will take effect on all versions (mobile, desktop and web) … how is your lockout feature different?
Yes most propfirm that offer Tradovate Prop have the option to manually lock your account. But for Propfirm where your connection is Rithmic you can’t lock yourself out. With My Add-on you can lock yourself out of Rithmic or Tradovate accounts. Plus be aware that not all propfirm have Tradovate Prop yet such as Apex where there is no manual lock out button available.
