No other broker seems to have such a convoluted system or problems with maintaining account security. I’ve had too many days to count now when I couldn’t trade at all because I can’t even log in.
I tried logging in tonight and the email never came. I created an account here on this bulletin board, and then I got an email to authenticate this log in, but still have not to log into my actual account.
This is some kind of random torture device, not the service I signed up for with the Lifetime plan.
Support has been useless, they essentially told me to just remove 2FA.
Do you have this problem if you log in each time from the same computer? Or do you log in from different computers?
I know that Ninjatrader creates a profile (combination of hardware and other unknown things) and links that to your Machine ID. So if your hardware changes too much, you get another Machine ID. The same can happen if you log in from another computer.
I always log in from the same computer. But as I use intensively a VPN, my IP address is almost never the same. But even then I never get the message that it is a log in from an unknown device.
