Is there any WS maintenance tool that would clean up user drawings? I mean with one click, for all windows-tabs in bulk. Either internal in NT, or from a 3rd party. It would save me work, otherwise I would have to create one myself. Thanks in advance for the tips.

You can google ours “XABCD Hotkey”. We have an undo button that will remove each drawing object one by one for the last history of 20 objects - but your request to move all of them would be a very simple task for us to add into the tool next week.

thanks for your offer, but $200 is quite a lot for such a simple task in my opinion
plus it is for use by only one person
it would be better to do it as a web service if so…
anyway it would be best if NT had it as database/ws maintenance - so I will wait to see if they respond or if someone has or shares a non-profit solution
Honestly, dealing with Drawings is easily one of the biggest frustrations with NinjaTrader.
The lack of an undo function, the inability to select multiple drawing on the chart at once. If you want to move some drawings as a group you have to do it one by one. Cannot edit text directly on the chart…
Yea you can right click > drawing tools and get a list of drawings for the tab but this is very cumbersome and slow.

The real cost on our side isn’t writing one line to delete drawings — it’s keeping everything stable through NT8 changes, testing edge cases (multi-tabs, multi-monitors, hidden panels), and making sure it’s safe (undo/rollback, scoped actions) so you don’t risk your workspace.
On your specific request: we’ve already queued a one-click “Clear All Drawings (Workspace)” action that covers all windows/tabs. It’ll ship in the next update at no extra cost to the suite.

Hi xabcd, I understand your point of view. As a developer and seller of your product, you can’t write anything else. Personally, I’m looking for a solution to 1 thing, not to the other 40 for which I’m not looking for a solution.
Risking WS is not such a problem, you certainly know that NT stores the last 10 versions by default, plus macros can keep the original version and only create a new modified file for WS.
Ok, so you got a tip on a useful function, good for you, your business, and for your customers, not for everyone as you write.
For everyone with interest and a little knowledge of scripting, if you are looking for your own home-made solution, just chat for a while with GPTChat or Geminy and you will get the code in PS or VB.

i had thought when you mentioned how you were willing to go to a 3rd party, i assumed you meant paid. My mistake.
But your right, for what your wanting its totally overkill. For someone else that might want automation in their nt8 selecting different atms, setting qtys, advanced orders, adding or removing indicators at a press of the button on their stream deck, thats more of the trader that would find this useful.
Hope you find what you need maybe go with your original thought and code it yourself, youll have full control over it that way too.
