Why is it that in NinjaTrader, when I open a position (with associated SL_TP orders), and subsequently, since the first trade incurs a loss, I open a second trade (also with associated SL_TP orders), when I close the second trade using the ‘Close’ button, the first trade is automatically closed as well? I would like to keep the first trade open. My request is as follows: if I want to close only the second trade using the ‘Close’ button (either because it is profitable and reaches its TP) while leaving the first trade open—hoping it will return to profitability—is there a way to achieve this? Can you please explain how I can do this?( Order OCO do not solve this probem."Thank you Regards
I believe this is by design. You’ll have to move the stop or create a custom close button per your requirement.
THANK YOU, I SEE NOW THAT ALSO IF A DO NOT CLOSE WITH close botton , AND I AWAIT that the second orders ( the executed one now in profit ) is closed from automatic TP order annex , also the 1 order ( that is always in loss but not for SL) is immediatly closed exacltly i close with Botton close all!! . This is not correct , i want this position stay open ( and will be close direcly fromh its annex orders SL-TP .Thank you .Regards
