I have my NinjaTrader platform set to auto-close at 3:30 p.m. CT. While I do need to avoid overnight margin requirements, I don’t want to exit a trade in play if it still has “legs”. If I change my auto-close parameter to 3:44:45, would that be sufficient, or should I stick with 3:30?
In case this is relevant to my question – I’m an intraday trader specializing in the NQ, so I don’t trade in any other markets.
