Problem with Delayed Data

I haven’t subscribed to a data package yet so I’m trading on delayed data. It says the data is 10 minutes delayed, but it’s printing these enormous bars that don’t match up with the actual prices at all. When I disconnect and then reconnect it seems to fix the previous huge bar, but then it just starts doing the same thing all over again. See attached pic. What’s going on?

This is an ongoing bug since the delayed data were introduced. NT engine fails to synchronize and the very first realtime bar is always going to aggregate last 10min of historical data regardless of your bar period.

I ran delayed CME data for about two months before I paid up and those giant bars were normal for me too, the feed batches the ticks so one bar swallows 10 minutes of range. Reconnecting just backfills it until the next batch lands. Once I went live data it stopped completely, so I wouldn’t spend time chasing chart settings on this one.

So does it print the bars correctly after that 10 min bar completes?

Does it print the bars correctly after that 10 min bar completes then?

It’s not actually delayed then, it’s only letting you have a 10-minute chart and no other type.. really annoying, esp if they want people to be able to get a feel for the platform before paying to subscribe
