same outcome. I don’t get terminl window - however on one pc I can see it says syncs clock and final line is \User|Bruce\Desktop\stop net w32time before that first console window closes. Then, NTLogin splash screen and fails to enter.
So it seems it stops the timer before it starts nt.exe and then has no tmer for the login screen…
Which version are you using?
Latest (virus version)
HA, there is no virus version. What is the version number?
Where is the version number?
The one currently on Git
Right click on the exe, properties/details. But, I also added it to the first line of the current version.
Not sure what was going on with Github, I have now verified the current version is on Github.
I had tried that and saw no version number, nor Previous Versions. Are you saying there is now a newer version on Github?
Yes, the current version 1.1.0.2 is on GitHub.
I have v.02 and first test works!
Very good. Thanks for helping make it better.
Spoke too soon. Same again - first attempt fails at pw splash screen, 2nd succeeds. Very repeatable
and after closing terminal window and NT login splash screen, and re-running NJLogon it works see screenshots
Thanks.
A new version 1.1.0.3 has been uploaded.
Looks promising so far…
Good and bad update:
Ran it multiple times yesterday and no issues (‘stress-tested’ with multiple other windows open, bringing focus to them and off Login splash screen etc trying to break it, unsuccessfully. Good
Bad - ran it on back up pc - gets to the login splash screen but doesn’t paste pw. /verbose shows it completing multiple Timer successfully but then sits there with empty pw field
I’m ‘happy’ as it saves me daily and completely futile tedium of logging in manually so job’s a good 'un eventually, and it’s hardly a hardship to login manually in the rare event I use backup PC. Just FYI if you wish to continue your education
Feedback/opinion - your upgrade on Deva’s was to ensure grabbing the login splash screen window for pw entry i.e. finding the window ‘handle’ ID. Not sure if the timer using system clock is a necessary way of doing this and if this, as it seems, is causing issues is juice not worth the squeeze. Above my paygrade however, just feedback
Kind regards
Thanks for the data. The screen contents of the back up PC failure would be helpful. The text can be copied from the console window.
Not sure if the timer using system clock is a necessary way of doing
The system clock is not used.
can’t offer much insight as to why and when/steps to reproduce and tbh ‘exhausted’
When it fails it shows the screenshot with Timer2345 success but doesn’t continue. When it completes, with /verbose enabled it only flashes up the terminal screen then continues to login, with the other terminal screen in the taskbar. But, for example, I ran and it failed to login. Closed login screen and simply repeated dbleclick NTShortcut - no changes - and it logged in successfully second time and thereafter
Do you test any of these before distributing?
But, for example, I ran and it failed to login.
OK but, if the verbose switch is on it will log and not “disappear”. Unless another process kills it.
Do you test any of these before distributing?
Of course, I use it every week day, the market is open. And during development, launched it many times.
No need to keep testing if you are “exhausted”
Thanks for testing.
FYI, The text “The operation completed successfully” is not in the program.
