You donât understand the basics. You donât even understand the difference between âaccount balance minimumâ and âminimum depositâ .
Account balance minimum is the minimum that you need to have in your account to trade an instrument. Margins vary depending on what you trade.
The minimum deposit is the minimum amount required for opening an online brokerage account. There is no minimum deposit amount at Ninjatrader. But there is an account balance minimum.

I never said anywhere that I am a pro. But I got in 1995 my CTA license. So I have an above average knowledge about trading.

You told yourself that you are a newbie. 5 margin violations in 6 hours is the ultimate proof of your lack of knowledge. If you take so many margin calls in such a short time and then accuse Ninjatrader for your stupidities, it is clear you have no experience or knowledge of trading futures at all.

I have to admit that in one thing you are breaking all the records. In my 30 years of trading, I have never heard about somebody who could catch 5 margin calls within 6 hours. Congratulation for that.

You can open a NinjaTrader account without a set minimum, but to trade live futures, you still need to fund it with at least $400, depending on the broker you use inside the platform. Thatâs where the confusion startsâthey donât require a minimum to create the account itself. For a breakdown on funding and margins, be sure to look through more info here.
