yep. Been there done that. I am returning the computer. Time is too precious to waste on this type of stuff. I know it’s a windows issue but the company who built the machine don’t have a dedicated support line. Its been a week of technical issues - laptop stopped working for a week - took it to repair shop and of course it booted up just fine lol!!
Had the same problem in the past. The best solution to me was to just buy an extra computer, make him ready to trade, and switch to that one in case of problems with my usual trading computer. Much cheaper than missing one day of trading. Even if you have a support line, it can still take a lot of time before the problem is solved.
