Negative margin

Say I have $1,000 funded in my account.

If I go to -$1,000 what would happen (e.g. halt trading, liquidate account, etc.)?

Your position would be automatically closed before that happens.

You will have to pay for any damage. So if you go -$10,000 they will come after you.
You and you alone are responsible for ANY damage, no matter the size of the damage. There are no excuses.
