Missing "remember my password"? I got a solution

It’s fine if people have security concerns but this thread got out of control unnecessarily. I don’t know Jiri personally but I know of the NT software he made that previously that has been around a number of years. I’m pretty certain this is not the case of someone signing up 2 weeks ago and trying to scam logins.

ok then that is good, i guess all those concerns have been put to rest…you can’t blame people for being paranoid on internet trading forums especially when someone good looking makes a post  take that as a compliment mate.

there is nothing out of control those are the very basic questions that need to be put to rest before you take an exe from someone.

Now if only you could add a feature in your product wherein it restarts the strategies that were running in the previous session, by first connecting to the datafeed it was connected to earlier…I think a product like that would be easily worth a couple of hundred bucks…as an algorithmic trader that is my biggest frustration…with your present plugin one could possibly get ninjatrader to start and login to the default workspace when the machine reboots but still the trader would need to connect to the live feed manually and restart all strategies manually.

Personally for me though I have another issue that since my strategies extend bloodhound strategy (shark indicators) they dont even appear on control centre after restart, because of their dependency the workspace is unable to automatically reload them.

a lot of things are sold to the trading community, 99.4% are useless for the objective of learning how to make money in the markets. A trade is happening though

At any rate, its a good things that any one posting their wares on a ninjatrader forum gets interrogated, this isn’t some gullible audience, at least i’d hope we’re not some gullible audience.

I’ve been pretty measured in this thread, but I’ll be direct: there’s a difference between skepticism and throwing unverified claims around and then quietly reframing it as due diligence once the claims don’t hold up.

I am still waiting on that 2017 tool reference.

Healthy skepticism is welcome. That’s not what happened here.

Look up Bob Cometta in Nexus io

I’m not quietly reframing it as due diligence, I’m saying that 99.4% of things sold to retail trading communicy are useless. Maybe your product is not that, maybe.

Think of me, not as the liquidity type that this product can draw from. Heck soon I’ll start building things to sell to the retail community. That seems like a better trade, than trying to trade the ES everyday.

Do your thing Big Dog!

I think of you as someone who came in with a claim, couldn’t back it up, and is now leaving with a catchphrase. That’s fine, not every exit needs to be graceful.

For what it’s worth, “maybe useful, maybe not” isn’t a verdict, it’s a guess. You haven’t tried it, which means you don’t actually know which side of your 99.4% it lands on.

Good luck with the retail products. Genuinely.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. Cheers. (You passed the interrogation)

As promised, I’ve updated NinjaTrader Launcher so automatic-login credentials are no longer stored in the launcher config file. Username and password are now stored locally using Windows Credential Manager, tied to your Windows user account.

If you already had auto-login configured, the Launcher will automatically migrate your existing saved credentials the next time it starts. After migration, the old username/password entries are removed from the launcher config file.
