What are teh best copy tarding solution for managing more than 10 accounts with minimal lag ? I have the imrpesion that any built in solution when you manage larger number fo accoutns will incur in some sort of lagginf issue…I guess cloud based solutions are preferred maybe over a VPS. What solutions are therw to automate this with Ninja?
I would look at thor tradecopier.
Most of the lag comes from the order of events, not which copier you pick. The follower orders only go out after the lead account fills, so in a fast move the followers fill later and often at a worse price, and that gets more noticeable the more accounts you add. A VPS near the exchange shortens the trip, but it can’t remove that step. Before choosing one, make sure every follower carries its own stop and target, and know exactly what happens to those orders if the copier or the platform shuts down mid-trade, because then it’s ten accounts exposed instead of one. If these are funded accounts, also read each firm’s rules on trade copiers and on how many accounts you can hold, since they differ from firm to firm.
Ninjatrader queues orders for execution and there’s no way around that. However there’s nothing preventing someone to code the followers to submit their orders placed instead on fill. I’ve seen at least one copier that has such option.

Good point, mirroring on order placement takes the wait for the fill out of it. The tradeoff is that the lead and the followers can end up in different states, like a limit that fills on the lead but not on some followers, or the other way around. So the copier has to handle cancels and partial fills cleanly across every account. Worth running that on sim before trusting it with funded accounts.
